About the event
Are you winding down your primary career (whether you wanted to, or not) and wondering what comes next? You’re not alone.
Research strongly indicates that finding your purpose, and matching it to your path is an increasingly formidable challenge for people in their mid-fifties and older, who have devoted decades to their careers, who may now be “out of work”, and yet still have an abundance of energy, passion, and wisdom to propel them into their next chapter. We call this time in your life, your Third Half.
Third Half Advisors (THA)—the brainchild of experienced financial service executives, Campbell Gerrish and Caroline Brecker—helps you build a bridge from your full-time career to a vibrant Third Half of life marked by meaning, purpose, and joy. We know, from first-hand experience, it can be both disorienting, and liberating.
Third Half Advisors offers a series of group workshops, seminars, and one-on-one coaching, to help you discover new insights about yourself, develop a personal roadmap, and build a trusted network of peers who are in similar life-stage transitions.

What is the Third Half Core Day? Our one-day foundation program - our “Core Day”- is an essential starting point to reflect on what matters most to you so you can make informed decisions on what you really want to do next, and apply practical strategies on how to do it. This one-day course is facilitated by Third Half coaches who are highly credentialed, business-minded, impact oriented and experienced in the “third half journey”.
Most importantly, you will gain clarity on the key elements that will move you forward:
• Your Personal Values
• Your Strengths
• Your Meaningful Activities
• Your Blockers
• Your Next Actions
We’ll dig in to each of these key elements throughout the Core Day using provocative hands-on exercises and research-supported learning tools. You’ll interact with like-minded people who are tussling with some of the same questions, anxieties, and feelings that are naturally part of this phase in life.
Each of you will leave the day feeling inspired, better informed, and better equipped with new “thinking” tools. Moreover, you’ll become part of a new and interesting learning community of peers who will continue to be part of your journey.
We also know your head will be buzzing over the weekend afterward, so to ensure you have a place to land Monday morning and keep the momentum going, we are pleased to offer a bundled package of a one-month AGENCY Connector trial membership. This includes a mini-workshop on Monday, April 27th to follow-up with your coach and Third Half cohort, and (occasional) use of a coworking seat at CIC for one month to work on your roadmap among a vibrant, connected, entrepreneurial community. During the Monday session, you will leverage your skills from the Core Day and assess how you want to operate (solopreneur, entrepreneur, partner, or consultant) identifying three bold steps you can take to start framing your idea so that your life of intention is filled with creativity, innovation and opportunity.
We look forward to working with you! Caroline, Campbell, & Polly
Some comments from our participants:
"This program is THE best personal day of training that I have ever participated in. Thank you all."
"The sessions were helpful in understanding the next chapter in your life - a road map to consider even if you feel comfortable with your next step. The sessions allowed you to confirm and also look at this change from a different view point. The sessions considered what you should expect and allows you time to think about this BEFORE you are faced with these changes. It is worth your time to invest in yourself and your future!"
Please note: space is very limited for this event (maximum of 35 participants). We are also closely monitoring the evolving coronavirus situation, and if at any point, it looks as if this will be a direct threat to our small gathering, we will communicate a plan of action immediately.
